BOYDEN GLOBAL EXECUTIVE SEARCH ADDS DIRECTOR FROM CHINA TO BOARD

– Boyden’s shareholders emphasize importance of Chinese market by electing Brian Renwick, Managing Partner at Boyden China; additionally Chairman Trina Gordon of Boyden Chicago, President & CEO Chris Clarke, and Julia Nikitina in St. Petersburg were also re-elected as Directors –


LONDON, June, 2010 – Boyden, a global leader in executive search with more than 70 offices in over 40 countries, today announced the results of its Board of Directors elections as part of its annual shareholder meeting in London. Brian Renwick, Managing Director of Boyden Hong Kong and China was elected as a new Director.

In addition, Trina Gordon, Chairman of Boyden World Corporation and Managing Director of Boyden Chicago, Chris Clarke, President and CEO and Julia Nikitina, Managing Director of Boyden St. Petersburg, were all re-elected to new two-year terms as Board Members.

Brian Renwick, Asia/Pacific Regional Director and New Board Member: Mr. Renwick’s career has spanned almost the entire history of modern day HR management. After a number of years in the UK and the Middle East, he moved to Hong Kong and served as Head of Personnel for the Hong Kong Jockey Club and later as Head of Human Resources for HSBC Bank. Mr. Renwick then launched a human resources consulting company Renwick McCormick Maule & Tam, which was acquired by Aon Consulting Asia. He then served as Regional Director for Aon Consulting before becoming Partner and Joint Managing Director of Boyden in Hong Kong and China. Mr. Renwick’s industry experience includes Industrial/Mining, Financial Services, Consumer/Leisure and Construction. Mr. Renwick has served on a number of public bodies in Hong Kong and is currently Vice Chairman of The Employers' Federation of Hong Kong and Chairman of the Manpower Committee of the Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce.

Trina Gordon, Re-Elected Board Member: Ms. Gordon joined Boyden in 1990 and has served as a Board Member since 2001. With more than 25 years of industry experience, she is a member of the following Boyden Specialty Practices: Board of Directors, Consumer Products and Human Resources. She has led Board, CEO, COO and other C-suite searches for Fortune 500 and private corporations. Ms. Gordon has also keynoted the Executive Search Summit, the industry’s largest U.S. conference, and has participated in Fortune’s elite Most Powerful Women Summit. In addition, Ms. Gordon is regularly quoted as a management expert in the media including Bloomberg BusinessWeek, Directors Monthly, Fortune and The Wall Street Journal.


Chris Clarke, Re-Elected Board Member: Based in New York, Mr. Clarke has served as President and CEO of Boyden World Corporation since 2000. During his tenure, he has led Boyden to the status of one of leading global executive search firms including record growth over four separate years. He is part of Boyden’s international team, focused on Board and CEO succession. Before Joining Boyden, he was Managing Director, South East Asia, based in Singapore, with an international consulting firm. He has also been a Managing Director with a boutique investment bank in London, implementing and restructuring, divestitures and M&A projects. Mr. Clarke has degrees in economics and management, is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and writes, speaks and broadcasts on succession and other strategic subjects.


Julia Nikitina, Re-elected Europe/Middle East/Africa Regional Director and Board Member: Ms. Nikitina joined Boyden as the Managing Partner of the St. Petersburg office in 1998 and has managed Boyden’s Russia operations since 2006. Ms. Nikitina has played an instrumental role in strengthening Boyden’s brand and building its client development in the emerging Russian market as well. She possesses extensive experience in executive search focused on Finance and Banking, Industrial, Consumer Goods and IT & Telecom with market-leading regional and multinational organizations starting or expanding operations in Russia. Prior to joining Boyden, in 1993, Ms. Nikitina founded Laum Consulting, one of the first Russian recruiting companies. In addition, she sits on the Executive Committee of the St. Petersburg American Chamber of Commerce.
